On June 1, 2021, Rosenberger Construction broke ground on Plum Creek Building 3. This MEP design/build project includes a 489,000-square-foot building with 12” thickened slab sections, a 50-foot clear height crane bay, low- and high-pressure gas meters, and 16,000 amps of power for a specialized manufacturing tenant. The project also includes two separate below-ground, concrete pits for manufacturing equipment. The pits, which measure 25 feet and 11 feet deep, feature cast-in-place concrete walls and specialized de-watering systems. Additional site improvements include landscaping, detention ponds, trailer, parking striping, and two retaining walls – one measuring over 1,100 feet long.
Inside, the building features LED fixtures equipped with individual motion sensors and a custom-designed high-temperature ESFR system. The building’s construction was split into separate north and south sections, which ensured that the south section could be turned over to the tenant early, on December 1, 2020.
Rosenberger Construction completed the project on January 26, 2022, more than two months ahead of schedule.
