BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN, 2000

Matt has been working in the construction industry for over 20 years. He originally went to school to become an architect, but was drawn to construction from the days of renovating houses. Matt began working in heavy civil construction alongside seasoned superintendents building roads, bridges and railways and from them, he gleaned practical field experience and scheduling knowledge. In 2005, Matt switched gears on project types and began working for Rosenberger as a Project Superintendent. He appreciated seeing the process of construction from start to finish and enjoyed the freedom of running his own projects.
Matt is passionate about finding creative ways to solve issues, whether constructability or budget related. He enjoys conceptual estimating, when no details or drawing exist and the project is truly just a concept. He strives to keep on top of overall costs, which has proved to be a huge asset to his clients. Matt enjoys developing relationships with new contacts, as well as maintaining the existing relationships he has with clients and subcontractors. He is also passionate about leading and mentoring assistant project managers and assisting in their career development.
